Ah, the wait for One UI 7.0 now feels longer than ever, especially with numerous leaks making their way online. The last week of November has been full of surprises. We could say that One UI 7.0 has almost been entirely leaked. To top it off, we’ve got a glimpse of the upcoming One UI 7.0’s Calculator app. Here’s what it looks like.
One UI 7.0 Calculator is out in public ahead of beta debut
At first glance, there’s a noticeable difference between the Calculator icon in One UI 6.0 and the one in One UI 7.0. To put it into perspective, the new One UI 7.0 Calculator icon features a new color palette. Samsung seems to have replaced the division (÷) and multiplication (×) signs with the addition (+), subtraction (-), and equals (=) signs instead.
The changes inside appear to be minimal at this point. After all, let’s face it — it’s a calculator, and I firmly believe in the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Instead, Samsung seems to have focused on making the digits and other buttons slightly larger, which can be helpful when you’re in a rush.

Will the leaked Calculator app make it to One UI 7.0?
It’s quite plausible that Samsung will continue using the Calculator app in its current form for the One UI 7.0 beta, if not the final or stable build. After all, it’s still a stock app. There are good reasons not to completely overhaul it. For many users who are accustomed to the app, a drastic change could feel jarring when Samsung introduces something entirely new.
To provide some context from the other side of the world, Apple also updated its Calculator app with iOS 18. What’s more, it finally brought the Calculator app to iPads. Yes, before this update, you couldn’t use the Calculator app on an iPad (except by downloading from the App Store). However, Apple kept the design minimal to avoid upsetting users who are already accustomed to the app.
