Samsung has unexpectedly joined the One UI 7 leak party. The company’s official Spanish website prematurely announced the “fresh and stylish” One UI 7 update, even though beta programs have yet to launch. The announcement includes short teasers showcasing the revamped icons and UI changes.

One UI 7 teased on Samsung’s official website before the beta release

“Introducing One UI 7, with more sophisticated and intuitive icons, an intelligent notification control center, a new lock screen with a quick view of ongoing activities, and more,” Samsung described the upcoming big update (Translated from Spanish). “Upgrade to One UI 7 and explore every detail,” the premature listing added, though the update isn’t available yet.

The teaser shows off the revamped icons for several Samsung apps, though they may not be the final ones. Rumors suggest the company has been regularly chopping and changing icon designs and color schemes, trying out several iterations internally. Here’s everything shown in this leaked official One UI 7 teaser from Samsung (h/t @ash_28804/X).

Samsung also dropped a hint at big AI updates on One UI 7. “One UI 7 lets you do whatever you want effortlessly. And now, with Galaxy AI, more than ever. Revolutionize the way you communicate and unleash your creativity to do it all. You’re in charge,” the company said, accompanied by another teaser.

Most of these changes were previously revealed through multiple leaks, but we now have official confirmation, albeit accidentally. Hopefully, this means the beta release is close. Samsung has already delayed the One UI 7 beta by several months. The latest rumors suggest it’ll arrive in mid-December, though no one would complain if Samsung drops it early next week.

The Galaxy S24 series will receive the beta update first, followed by other models if any. The Korean firm may launch beta programs in India, China, South Korea, Poland, Germany, the UK, and the US. We will have to wait longer for the stable version, though. Samsung plans to roll out the stable One UI 7 update with the Galaxy S25 series next year. Other models will get the update after the flagship launch. The devices are likely to go official on January 22, 2025.
