Samsung Galaxy A26 Renders Leaked with Familiar Design

by | Nov 14, 2024 | Galaxy A, News

We’ve been hearing about Samsung’s next A-series budget smartphone, the Galaxy A26, for a while now. Last month, we learnt that the Galaxy A26 would feature an overclocked variant of the Exynos 1280 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM

Now, it seems we are one step closer to the launch, as today Android Headlines and OnLeaks have leaked the CAD renders of what appears to be the Galaxy A26, successor to the Galaxy A25. It’s expected to debut early next year, booting to Android 15-based One UI 7 most likely.

Samsung Galaxy A26 follows the same design language, though with a minor tweak

The renders of the Galaxy A26 we saw today make it clear that it will follow the same design as its predecessor. According to the renders, there will be a waterdrop notch, so no punch-hole design for the Galaxy A26. It features a flat display with a thicker bottom bezel, which is generally usual in A-series phones.

On the rear, the Galaxy A26 will equip a vertically aligned triple-camera setup positioned at the top-left corner, along with an LED flash. The camera details are still under wraps for now. Notably, the volume rockers and power button go all-in for the new Key Island design.

There’s no clue about the pricing yet. But given that the Galaxy A25 hit the shelves with a $299.99 price tag, the Galaxy A26 could come in the same price range.

Galaxy A26 could be thinner than the A25

The publication also notes down the Galaxy A26’s dimensions, but take that with a grain of salt. Even our friends at Android Headlines suggest that these could be rough estimates, and the final dimensions might differ. For now, let’s note that Galaxy A26 measures 164mm x 77.5mm x 7.7mm (or 9.7mm with the camera bump).

While the upcoming Galaxy S25 series is hogging all the limelight, let’s not forget most people most people still prefer to drive budget-friendly phones, a trend that’s true worldwide.
