In the coming weeks, Samsung will pull the wraps off its new foldables and smartwatches. The upcoming Galaxy Watches have been making the rounds on regulatory and certification databases over the past few weeks, all but confirming what’s coming.
Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 were hiding in Samsung’s own app
Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out an update for the Galaxy Wearable app (version 2.2.70.26060861). The changelog simply says it “supports new devices,” confirming that new products are on the way without revealing anything specific. But after digging through the app, we found something more interesting.

As you can see above, the Contact Us page now lists both the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. This also confirms what Samsung will market the upcoming smartwatches as.
More importantly, it’s the first time Samsung has confirmed the official names of both models. It also puts an end to rumors about a Galaxy Watch 9 Classic, as there’s no mention of such a model anywhere.
