Google Now Lets You Try Play Pass Free for 1 Month

Google now lets Android users try Play Pass free for one month. The promotion unlocks access to a large collection of premium games and apps during the trial period. The offer is available until August 31, 2026, though it’s only for eligible Google accounts in select regions, including the US.

You can claim a free 1-month Google Play Pass trial

Google Play Pass is a subscription service that lets you access more than 1,000 apps and games. The titles in the catalog are ad-free and offer unlocked in-app purchases. Some popular games include Stardew Valley, Dead Cells, Dredge, Pocket City 2, Thronefall, and Kingdom Rush 5.

Apart from access to premium apps and games, Play Pass subscribers also receive weekly discounts on over 50 games. Some eligible titles include Roblox, Call of Duty: Mobile, Pokémon TCG Pocket, Royal Match, EA Sports FC, Kingshot, and Gossip Harbor.

Now you can take advantage of Play Pass for free for one month. Note that you are not eligible if you have had a Play Pass subscription at any time since March 17, 2026. Moreover, you must have a valid payment method at sign-up with a Google Payments account. Google also says accounts managed by a parent, school, or organization cannot avail this offer. To claim the free trial, head over to the promotional Play Pass page on your Android device. Alternatively, you can open the Google Play Store and look for the Play Pass banner in the Games tab. Once the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the regular monthly price.

The company will send you a reminder 7 days before the trial expires. If you don’t want to continue with the paid subscription, you can cancel it at any time. Make sure to claim the free one-month Play Pass trial before August 31, 2026.
