GPT-5.5 Instant now follows complex instructions more reliably. You can include multiple requirements or constraints in a single request. It will address all requirements while giving a clear reason for its recommendation. The best thing is that it does not repeat the same answer, as it adjusts to the new information.

The updated model can better adapt its response when you clarify your request or challenge an answer. More importantly, you will now receive more tasteful, cohesive responses with greater creativity. It will present the answer in cleaner, thoughtful formatting.

Open has improved responses for shopping and local business-related queries. The model now uses location information better to show relevant nearby options. It can also mix product recommendations, business details, and images in a useful way. The latest version of GPT-5.5 Instant should reach all ChatGPT users in the coming days.
