Tired of Sharing Your Real Phone Number? Saily Has a Solution

We often have to hand out our personal phone numbers at places we do not want to, whether it’s for hotel bookings, online registrations, or food deliveries. Saily, Nord Security’s travel eSIM service, wants to change that with the launch of a dedicated second phone number. It gives users a fully functional mobile line that can handle calls, texts, and verification codes, making it easier to keep a primary number private while traveling or managing everyday online activities.
Saily launches a second phone number service for travelers and privacy-conscious users
Most virtual number services are limited to receiving verification codes only. Saily’s offering, meanwhile, functions as a fully operational secondary phone number. Users can make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, and use it for two-factor authentication and account verification. It’s a practical option for frequent travelers, remote workers, and anyone looking to add an extra layer of privacy.
The feature also addresses several common mobile frustrations. Users can maintain a separate number for messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, receive OTPs while traveling abroad, and avoid constantly swapping physical SIM cards or managing multiple eSIM profiles for different purposes (via Android Authority).
Saily’s approach is particularly useful for international travelers. A user with a US-based number, for example, can contact local businesses, confirm reservations, or receive important calls without relying on expensive roaming services. If they relocate or spend an extended period in another country, the number remains active. They can switch the calling plan to match the new region.
Pricing starts at $0.99 per month, which reserves the phone number and keeps it active. At launch, the service provides US-based numbers. Users can separately add voice and SMS packages covering more than 100 countries, depending on usage needs. Incoming SMS messages are free and unlimited, even when users don’t have an active calling plan, ensuring they can still receive verification codes, security alerts, and other important messages.
