As long as you have The Frame, Neo QLED, or an S95H or S99H OLED TV, you can enjoy the Samsung Art Store. It already features a wide range of artworks made possible through partnerships with leading art institutions, and now Samsung has added another partner. It’s expanding the Art Store catalog again, this time through a partnership with the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

Stedelijk Museum becomes latest partner for Samsung Art Store

The new addition brings works from artists like Henri Matisse, Kazimir Malevich, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, and Jan Toorop. One highlight is Matisse’s The Parakeet and the Mermaid, along with pieces like Toorop’s Old Oaks in Surrey (1890). These works show the museum’s focus on modern European art.

The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is closely linked with movements like De Stijl, known for simple geometric shapes, bold layouts, and primary colors. These styles still influence modern interior design, which fits with Samsung’s push to present its TVs as both entertainment devices and display pieces.

This partnership adds to Samsung’s growing list of museum collaborations, which already includes the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, and Tate Modern. It further expands the range of art available through the Art Store.

Commenting on the partnership, Samsung Art Store Europe’s Marta Di Gioia said: “At Samsung, we see the home as a key space for experiencing art. By featuring works like Matisse’s ‘The Parakeet and the Mermaid’ on Samsung Art Store, we enable people to live with art that has shaped modern culture.”

Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam’s Director, Rein Wolfs, added: “The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam aims to introduce modern art and design to the widest possible audience. It’s a significant development, allowing people around the world to explore our collection in detail from home.”
