Before the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung teased some upcoming features for its Health app, including the Sleep environment report. And now, it’s almost here. Set to roll out in mid-2025 with the update to v6.29.5.017, this feature promises to bring a deeper look into the factors affecting your sleep.

Sleep environment report has almost made it to the Samsung Health app!

The Sleep environment report in Samsung Health app will help users understand how things like temperature, humidity, and lighting might be impacting their sleep. Every morning, the app will provide useful tips on how to adjust these factors to improve your rest. For instance, it might recommend lowering the temperature, adjusting the lighting. Or managing humidity levels to create a more comfortable sleep environment. Thankfully, X user @Theordysm has confirmed that it’s coming soon, and also shared some screenshots.

This feature is an exciting addition to the Samsung Health app, especially for those who are serious about improving their sleep. By tracking and analyzing your sleep surroundings, it gives you actionable advice to create the best environment for a restful night. One of the standout features of this update is its integration with SmartThings, Samsung’s home automation platform.

With SmartThings, the app will be able to automatically adjust your room settings based on your sleep preferences. This means you won’t have to manually change the temperature, lighting, or humidity. Instead, the app will take care of it for you, ensuring your sleep environment is optimized every night.

For users already using Samsung Health’s sleep tracking features, this update will offer even more personalized insights. It adds another layer of customization by focusing on the external factors that influence your rest. As the update is expected soon, you can look forward to taking full advantage of this feature in One UI 7.0.
