Samsung may have delayed the second One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. Originally expected on December 12, it’s now set to arrive on December 16. While the reason for the delay is unclear, it could be due to last-minute bug fixes or feature refinements. There’s still no telling when other models may receive the update.

Galaxy S24 could receive the second One UI 7.0 beta update next week

On December 5, Samsung launched the One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in the US, the UK, South Korea, China, and Germany. Poland and India were expected to join this week. Official customer support even confirmed the Indian beta launch on December 12. Historically, this expansion aligned with the second beta release in other markets, sparking expectations for a new update in the former five countries.

However, Samsung’s customer support has now indicated that the One UI 7.0 beta update will roll out in India on Monday, December 16. This likely signals a delay in the second beta release as well. It seems unlikely that Samsung will release a new beta build before launching the program in India and Poland, where the latest build should serve as the initial beta update.

The first One UI 7.0 beta update doesn’t have many issues, but it isn’t entirely bug-free either. A few expected features are missing, while animations look a little jittery too. Rumors suggest the next version will address the animation issues. The video below shows smoother animations in an unreleased One UI 7.0 build (XKN) on the right. It is said to arrive as the second update next week.

Samsung may expand its One UI 7.0 beta to more Galaxy devices later this month, possibly alongside the second beta release next week. We’ll monitor the situation and provide updates as more details become available, so stay tuned.
