The Galaxy S25 series is building much hype ahead of its official debut on January 22. In fact, we might’ve already caught a glimpse of the full specs for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. You can get up to $900 in trade-in value when buying the Galaxy S25 Ultra
DroidLife reports that Samsung is offering up to $900 in trade-in value when you buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to Samsung, you can get “up to an additional $900” credit with a trade-in, but it doesn’t specify which devices are eligible. That said, we’re probably talking about the Galaxy S24 Ultra — especially if it’s in pristine condition. Samsung will give you a final quote, but to maximize your trade-in value, ensure your phone is in mint shape.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 could also fetch up to $900, but that’s still an educated guess. For some context, the Galaxy S24 Ultra launched at $1,299, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 started at $1,899. Both have dropped in price since their releases, but if Samsung is offering $1,299 for the S24 Ultra, that’s a solid trade-in deal.
Add up the $900 trade-in value and an extra $50 for pre-reserving the Galaxy S25 series, and you’re looking at $950 in credits. Keep in mind, that Samsung teased up to $1,250 in additional savings, which we’ve broken down in a separate post.
Now, the remaining $300 of that $1,250 could come from what Samsung is calling an “additional $300 instant credit.” As of now, it’s unclear whether this amount will be taken off the final price or if it’ll be applied when buying accessories.
