Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy S25 series launch at next week’s Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose. During which, the curtain will rise on the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Ahead of the big reveal, Samsung is teasing an upgraded Sketch to Image tool. First introduced last year, this tool can turn rough sketches into detailed images. And soon, you’ll be able to use it with new multimodal capabilities, letting you do even more with your creations.
Sketch to Image is getting a massive upgrade
The updated Sketch to Image tool will soon support typing or speaking instructions through a newly added text box or with voice commands. This mix of freehand sketching and natural language input really opens up the door to endless creative possibilities. For example, you could sketch a simple outline of a cat and then tell the AI to add a spacesuit — just by typing or saying the word.
The AI processes these inputs to give you a polished, enhanced version of your drawing. Another example Samsung shared involves sketching a dream home facade and specifying details like “by the beach” or “in the mountains.” This upgrade is part of One UI 7, which Samsung calls its first integrated AI platform. The company says its Galaxy devices are evolving into AI-powered companions that can understand and process natural language in text, speech, and visuals.
