If you have a Samsung soundbar, you can now experience your favorite tracks in higher quality than ever before. The soundbar supports Spotify’s latest lossless audio quality option, allowing you to stream music in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC. The feature is currently rolling out gradually across several regions, including the US.

Spotify’s lossless audio feature is available on Samsung soundbars

Spotify recently introduced the much-awaited lossless audio feature for its premium listeners. This allows users to enjoy the highest music audio quality on the popular streaming platform. Whether you are playing a new album or an old favorite track, you can now get an immersive listening experience in greater detail. The platform also lets you choose music quality for Wi-Fi, cellular, and downloads. You can pick between Low, Normal, High, Very High, and now Lossless music quality.

In a blog post, Spotify wrote, “Lossless is available on mobile, desktop, and tablet, as well as on many devices that support Spotify Connect, including Sony, Bose, Samsung, Sennheiser, and more.” For the uninitiated, Spotify Connect lets you use the Spotify app as a remote to stream music from your phone to other supported devices, such as smart speakers, over your Wi-Fi network. Since Samsung soundbars (those with Wi-Fi connectivity) support Spotify Connect, you can take advantage of the lossless audio feature.

To enable lossless audio in the Spotify app, you first need to tap on your profile icon and then go to Settings & Privacy > Media Quality. From there, you can easily switch to lossless audio quality. However, it’s still unclear how you can turn on this option for Samsung soundbars. But as SamMobile points out, Spotify will likely add the option in its app or web player settings.

Meanwhile, if you are planning to upgrade your sound setup, you can check out Samsung’s 2025 flagship Q-series. These include several models such as the HW-Q990F and HW-Q700F. The former is available for $1,599, while the latter costs $599.
