Samsung may have begun pre-orders for the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 in select markets, but their formal launch is still awaited. The company has now confirmed the launch date for the next-gen Galaxy A-series phones. Leaks suggest the phones will arrive with a host of meaningful upgrades over their predecessors.

Samsung teases its next-gen Galaxy A-series phones

In a post on X, Samsung India teased the launch of its 2026 Galaxy A-series smartphones, saying: “A new awesome is coming soon, with a design that turns heads and features bound to leave you in awe. Are you ready?” The post also included a teaser video that revealed the official launch date in India as March 25 (5:30 pm IST).

The video also highlights the familiar Key Island design of one of the phones. This design features a raised island section on the right side frame that houses the power button and volume rocker. Other details currently remain under wraps, but we already know key details thanks to early retail listings.

Both the Galaxy A57 and A37 could adopt flat displays with a hole-punch for the selfie unit. The phones may come with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2340 x 1080. On the back, we could see a vertical triple-camera setup housed in a pill-shaped bump. The Galaxy A57 5G will be slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, likely measuring 6.9mm in thickness and weighing 179g.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 may feature Exynos 1680, while the Galaxy A37 could use Exynos 1480. Both phones are said to be IP68-rated, an improvement over the IP67 rating of previous models. We could also get a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging in the devices.

Samsung has also opened a dedicated page on its India website for the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones. You can register now to receive updates on key details, such as availability. The company should launch the phones in other markets, including the US, on the same date, though only time will tell.
