The past few days have been all about whether the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen is making a comeback. Well, turns out it’s not, as Samsung has already shot down those rumors — at least for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It all started with a blog post on Sunday from Samsung Insights, which mentioned that the Bluetooth S Pen is now sold separately. The post was written by a freelancer, but Samsung dropped the ball on proofreading, which set the stage for a whole lot of wild speculations.

Samsung has edited the references to Bluetooth-enabled S Pen for Galaxy S25 Ultra

Thankfully, Samsung put those rumors to rest with a statement to Android Authority, clearing up any confusion. But up until just a few hours ago, the company hadn’t updated the Samsung Insights blog post. Now, Samsung has quietly edited it, making some changes (via 9to5Google). And, most notably, Samsung has removed the entire paragraph that mentioned the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen.

This move hasn’t exactly gone over well with a lot of users. In fact, social media has been flooded with complaints and frustration from people who were holding out hope for the return of the Bluetooth S Pen. Still, Samsung explained that the decision to remove it was based on the fact that less than 1% of users actually took advantage of these Bluetooth features, so it decided it wasn’t worth keeping around.

That said, we’re not giving up just yet. We’ve launched a petition on Change.org. Our demand? Bring back the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen with the release of Galaxy S26 Ultra. So, if you’re feeling passionate about it, do your part and sign the petition! Who knows — maybe we can change Samsung’s mind and get this feature back where it belongs.
