Samsung has released the One UI 8 update for Routines+, a powerful Good Lock module that builds upon the core Modes and Routines feature found on Galaxy smartphones. The latest version (v1.1.18) brings a refreshed look with a modern app icon and a useful new feature called Just in Routine. The update is rolling out to supported devices globally.

Routines+ gets its One UI 8 update with a cool new feature

For those unfamiliar, Routines+ adds more advanced triggers and actions to the existing Modes and Routines system app. Version 1.1.18 of the app introduces a feature called Just in Routine, which works on Galaxy devices running One UI 7 or later. This feature lets you create reminders for things that you may easily miss in daily life.

Whether it’s about a doctor visit, bill payment, shopping, physical exercise, or anything else, you can create detailed reminders that show up as a notification at your pre-configured time. Moreover, if your device supports Now Brief, a personalized hub with all the necessary contextual information based on your activities and time of day, this reminder appears as a card there.

This makes Routines+ not just about automation, but also about gentle habit reinforcement, bringing Galaxy devices closer to real-time contextual awareness. Just in Routine offers a vast array of reminder presets tailored to different situations. You can customize the context or create completely fresh reminders from scratch.

Besides the new feature, the latest update for Routines+ introduces a redesigned app icon and patches known bugs to make the app more stable and reliable. These refinements help ensure your routines run more smoothly and consistently. You can update the app from Good Lock or the Galaxy Store. Since the rollout began recently, it could take a while for the new version to show up for all Galaxy users worldwide.
