Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Gets March 2026 Security Update

In recent weeks, Samsung has pushed its March 2026 security update to a bunch of Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy S24 FE is now picking up an update that brings a fresh batch of security enhancements. As of now, only Korean units are receiving the latest patch, though it should not take long to hit units in other regions, including the US.

March 2026 update now live for Galaxy S24 FE

Samsung has released the March 2026 security patch (version CZC1) for the Galaxy S24 FE in South Korea. The phone debuted in 2024 with a promise for seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. As usual, the latest update addresses a host of security issues across Android OS and One UI components.

Samsung says this month’s update includes around 60 fixes for Android and 7 patches for One UI. For example, there was an issue in Secure Folder where improper handling of Android app components allowed a local attacker to launch certain activities. The update resolves with proper permission checks.

To check for the latest patch for the Galaxy S24 FE, you need to first open your Settings app. Now navigate to this path: Software update > Download and install. If the update hits your device, it will begin downloading. Make sure to restart the device to finish installation. While this update is good news for Galaxy S24 FE users, Samsung may also be preparing something more exciting. The company could soon start the One UI 8.5 beta program for the device. The beta is currently available for flagship models like the Galaxy S25 series, Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7. We have not yet seen Fan Edition devices in early beta programs. If it pans out, beta users will get early access to a redesigned interface and AI features in the Android 16 QPPR2-based software.
