Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy S25 trio, but that doesn’t mean it’s stopping anytime soon. After releasing the 2025 flagship phones, it’s tipped to introduce two new phones in the A-series lineup. Samsung may be preparing to launch the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 as successors to the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 soon.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy A56 & Galaxy A36 soon
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, who has a solid track record with such leaks, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in mid-March. Yadav mentions that the release will be both in India and globally. For what it’s worth, the Galaxy A series has consistently followed a mid-March launch timeline for as long as I can remember.
We know most of what’s coming with these devices, thanks to leaks and renders. The Galaxy A56 could cost around $450, featuring a solid design and a triple-camera setup on the rear. The only downside, however, may be the rumored processors. The A36 might come with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the A56 could use an Exynos 1580, so they might not be the fastest on the block. But that’s not too bad, considering their expected price.
It’s more likely that Samsung will offer six years of software updates on the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36. Samsung recently pushed the Galaxy A16 5G with six years of software upgrades, which is the only budget Samsung phone to have this. Perhaps the Galaxy A56 and A36 could follow suit, at least the former might. They’ll support 45W wired charging, a major upgrade from last year’s 25W wired charging.
That said, there are also reports suggesting the Galaxy A56 could be the first phone to support Galaxy AI. And we’re not far off from knowing what happens, as the phones are less than two months away from being official.
