Samsung has officially revealed that the stable One UI 7.0 update will launch in April. However, the company has yet to disclose which Galaxy devices will receive the update first. While that remains unclear, it is now confirmed that the update will be released worldwide at the same time. This means at least one Galaxy phone will receive One UI 7.0 in all global markets next month.

Stable One UI 7.0 will be available in all markets in April

In December, Samsung released the first One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. It was available for users in China, Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the UK, and the US. The company recently expanded the beta to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy Tab S10. The Galaxy A55 will also receive the beta update later this month.

However, the latter group on devices is getting One UI 7.0 beta only in India, South Korea, the UK, and the US. This made us wonder whether Samsung will follow a similar pattern for the stable rollout, initially pushing the update in select beta countries and gradually expanding it to more markets. A recent press release from the Korean firm suggests otherwise, though.

“Official update of One UI 7 will be available within April in all markets,” Samsung New Zealand said in a press release announcing the beta expansion. By the looks of it, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55 will receive the stable version globally next month, or at least the Galaxy S24 will.

Considering the number of devices Samsung has to update to One UI 7.0, we don’t expect the company to complete the rollout within April. However, we’d be happy if it proves us wrong. The update has been delayed for too long, so the sooner Samsung gets done with it, the better for it.
