Samsung’s highly anticipated One UI 7.0 update is finally set to roll out next month, starting April 7. However, not all eligible Galaxy devices will receive the update on day one. In fact, some users may have to wait until May to get their hands on the new version. While an exact rollout schedule remains unclear, Samsung has confirmed the first wave of devices that will receive One UI 7.0 in April.

These Galaxy devices are confirmed to get the One UI 7.0 update in April

Samsung has several dozen Galaxy smartphones and tablets lined up for the One UI 7.0 update. The company will begin the rollout on April 7 and gradually push the new version to more devices. As you might expect, the Galaxy S24 series will receive the big update first, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Additionally, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series will receive One UI 7.0 within April. It could update more devices, but these are on the priority list. As mentioned above, Samsung’s One UI 7.0 rollout might extend till May or even June, depending on how quickly it releases the update to all eligible models.

As far as new features are concerned, One UI 7.0 brings plenty of them. This update introduces a subtle UI redesign for enhanced ease of use. Improved system animations and smoother transitions also add to the overall system fluidity. On top of this, One UI 7.0 has new AI features, though most of those are limited to recent flagships. Even the Galaxy S23 series looks set to miss out on AI tools like Audior Eraser. Nonetheless, the update is close, and we expect Samsung to publish a more price roadmap soon.
