Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G7 and G8 Bring 4K and High Refresh Rates

Samsung is doubling down on OLED gaming displays in 2026 with new Odyssey OLED G7 and G8 monitors. These models bring OLED’s core strengths like deep blacks and fast response times to a wider audience, while also improving brightness and long-term panel performance.
Samsung’s latest Odyssey OLED G7 and G8 monitors come with Dual Mode
The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7 (G73SH) features a 4K panel with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It also supports Dual Mode, letting you push up to 330Hz at FHD resolution. With a 0.03ms response time, it’s built for competitive gaming where low input lag matters.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) comes in both 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, offering 4K resolution at up to 240Hz. It uses Samsung’s QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology, which improves brightness, efficiency, and durability over earlier OLED panels. The display also includes Glare Free technology to cut reflections without affecting picture quality.
Other features include DisplayPort 2.1, USB-C with up to 98W charging, AMD FreeSync Premium, NVIDIA G-Sync support, and HDR10+ Gaming. The 32-inch version is also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified.
These monitors will be available soon, with pricing for the lineup starting at $899.99. Samsung is offering early sign-up benefits, including a $50 credit and additional launch incentives through its official store.
