Samsung Unveils ViewFinity S8 and Movingstyle Essential for Work and Home Use

Samsung is also refreshing its professional and lifestyle display lineup with the new ViewFinity S8 series and the Movingstyle Essential. These monitors focus on productivity, connectivity, and flexibility, targeting users who want more than a standard desk setup.

The 40-inch ViewFinity S8 (S85TH) features a curved WUHD display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It’s built for multitasking and demanding workflows, and supports Thunderbolt 5 with up to 80Gbps data transfer and 140W charging. Samsung has also added Easy Connection for smoother device integration.

The 27-inch ViewFinity S8 (S80HF) brings 5K resolution in a more compact form factor, along with USB-C for both data transfer and device charging. It’s a good fit for professionals who want high resolution without moving to a larger screen.

For more flexible setups, the 43-inch Movingstyle Essential offers a 4K display on a rolling stand with height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot support. It also includes built-in Smart TV apps and Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming without a console.

Samsung says these models will be available soon, with prices across the 2026 lineup starting at $899.99. The Movingstyle Essential will be sold exclusively through Samsung’s website, where buyers can sign up for early purchase credits and offers.
