Samsung has released a new update for another Good Lock module. QuickStar is now receiving version 10.0.01.3, which brings stability improvements along with the return of a previously removed feature for One UI 8.5 users. The Good Lock app itself is also getting an update alongside this release.

QuickStar update restores the ability to customize Quick Panel button spacing

The latest update for QuickStar restores the ability to customize the Quick Panel button spacing on One UI 8.5. If you prefer a dense Quick Panel layout, this Good Lock module lets you fit up to eight buttons in a row. But if you prefer it the other way around, Samsung also lets you keep a single button in a row. You can basically customize the panel to fit anywhere between one and eight buttons.

QuickStar has long offered this feature, but Samsung removed it from One UI 8.5 during initial beta testing. The company said the stable version will reinstate it. Now that the Galaxy S26 series is here with One UI 8.5 out of the box, Samsung has rolled out an update for QuickStar to reintroduce this ability. Alongside the Galaxy S26 lineup, the feature is also back for S25 users on One UI 8.5 Beta.

Samsung’s official release notes also mention stability improvements and bug fixes for QuickStar. This update should enhance the stability of the app for smoother performance. You can install version 10.0.01.3 through Good Lock or the Galaxy Store.

Speaking of which, Samsung also recently rolled out a new version of the Good Lock app. It’s pushing version 3.0.15.0 with bug fixes and stability improvements. You can check for the update from the Galaxy Store. Alternatively, open Good Lock and tap on the Settings button (Gear icon in the top right corner) to see if a new version is available.
