A few days ago, Samsung rolled out One UI 8 Beta programs for the Galaxy S23 series in select markets. The company is now readying the second beta build for the 2023 flagships. The new update may arrive later this month, addressing bugs found in the original build. The stable version should be available for Galaxy S23 users worldwide before the end of October, if not earlier.

Samsung is testing One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S23 series

Samsung is moving quickly to expand the Android 16-based One UI 8 experience to more Galaxy devices. The update brings a refreshed UI design, smoother performance, and new AI-powered features aimed at enhancing productivity and personalization. After releasing the first One UI 8 Beta to Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra users, Samsung is now preparing the second beta update.

The company has already started internal testing of a new One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S23 series. The latest build, identified as version ZYI1, may not necessarily arrive as Beta 2, but it confirms that development is actively progressing. In the meantime, Samsung continues to gather feedback from beta testers to refine features and address issues ahead of the stable release.

Samsung has already confirmed that the stable One UI 8 update will begin rolling out in September 2025, with the Galaxy S25 series picking it up first. Shortly after, the update will expand to other flagship models, including the Galaxy S23 series. A wider availability of One UI 8 is expected in October.

While the Beta Program remains limited to certain regions, Galaxy S23 users currently testing One UI 8 should keep an eye out for the Beta 2 update. Maybe it will bring Now Brief. As always, you should back up important data before installing any beta software, since issues and instability may occur during testing. We will let you know when the rollout begins.
