Breaking! One UI 8.5 Beta Also Available for Galaxy A35

Samsung is further expanding its One UI 8.5 Beta Program, covering more devices. Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, the beta update is now available for the Galaxy A35. It is the second mid-range phone to get One UI 8.5 Beta after the Galaxy A36 last week. Samsung also recently pushed fresh beta updates to newer foldables.

One UI 8.5 beta expands to more mid-range Galaxy phones

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8.5 Beta to the Galaxy A35, allowing users to test upcoming features ahead of the stable release. The beta program is now live in India, but there’s little indication of an expansion to other markets. The Galaxy A36’s beta update is also exclusive to India, so we see no reason why Samsung would launch a beta for an older model in more regions.

Nonetheless, if you own a Galaxy A35 in India and want to test out One UI 8.5 early, enrolling in the beta program is straightforward. Open the Samsung Members app and look for a banner about the program. Tap the banner and follow the on-screen instructions to complete registration. Once enrolled, your device will be added to the beta program within minutes.

To install the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If available, the beta firmware will appear for download. Tap Install now and let your device restart. After installation, your device will boot into One UI 8.5 beta with early access to new features and improvements.

Before installing the beta, users are advised to back up their data. Beta software can be unstable and may introduce bugs or performance issues, especially in early builds. We expect more Galaxy devices to get early access to One UI 8.5 in the coming days. The Galaxy S23 FE is likely the next to get it, so stay tuned.
