Samsung has rolled out One UI 7 Beta 3 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. The update is currently available in South Korea and the US and should soon expand to other regions. It could be the final beta release before the stable rollout, which begins April 7.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 get One UI 7 Beta 3

The latest One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 carries the build version ZYCG. The OTA package weighs around 1.2GB for both models, with the update also bundling the April 2025 security patch — yes, the next month’s security release. But more importantly, it introduces a bunch of new features and bug fixes.

Firstly, this update finally lets Fold 6 and Flip 6 users remap the power button to launch Google Gemini instead of Bixby. Samsung has yet to roll out this ability to the Galaxy S24 series which has already received five One UI 7 beta updates. These foldables are also getting AI-powered transcriptions and summaries of call recordings and AI summaries of web pages.

Additionally, the Fold 6 and Flip 6 are picking up Audio Eraser, another AI feature for removing unwanted sound from videos. One UI 7 Beta 3 also brings custom stickers and a natural language search function within settings. The latter lets you find various settings with natural language commands. For example, you can say “My eyes are hurting” to find settings to manage the brightness and blue light filter.

On top of this, Samsung has addressed several known bugs across the system. The changelog mentions fixes for bugs causing the battery widget to misbehave in the landscape mode, widget label overlapping issues, hope screen and app screen overlapping issues, media player display errors, and cover screen setting issues. Overall, this beta release prepares the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 for the stable One UI 7 update coming next month.
