If you use multiple Samsung devices, you’ll love the One UI 7.0 update. The Android 15-based update improves the integration between those devices. Most notably, it introduces a new Camera Continuity feature that lets you seamlessly paste photos from your phone to your Galaxy Book.
Camera Continuity in One UI 7.0 improves productivity
Samsung has a massive ecosystem of devices and apps, but the integration between them is far from perfect. The company has been working on improving its cross-device functions. The One UI 7.0 update brings Galaxy devices closer with enhanced Continuity features, including Camera Continuity.
With this tool, you can seamlessly use your Galaxy phone and laptop in a connected setup. If you are creating a note on your PC, you can use the phone to scan documents. The scanned images and text are readily available to paste on your document directly via the PC. You don’t need to manually import the stuff or transfer files using a cable. This works between Galaxy tablets and laptops as well.
Camera Continuity requires all devices to be signed into the same Samsung Account. Additionally, they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and have Bluetooth turned on. You can access the feature on devices running One UI 7.0 by navigating to Settings > Connected Devices > Continue On Other Devices.
One UI 7.0 also enhances app continuity, which is available on older One UI versions. You can continue an app session on another device. It works for Samsung Internet, Samsung Notes, and more apps. Additionally, you can copy-paste your photos and seamlessly transfer your saved Wi-Fi credentials. You don’t need to manually enter your Wi-Fi passwords on all devices.
Samsung will release the stable One UI 7.0 update following the Galaxy S25 launch next month. The beta version is available for the Galaxy S24 series in select markets. Other devices may not receive beta updates.
