Meta has launched new Plus subscription plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. These plans let users access additional features, customization tools, and more across the apps. The company is currently rolling out the new subscriptions around the world.

You can now subscribe to premium plans across Meta’s flagship apps

In an Instagram post, Meta’s Head of Product Naomi Gleit announced the global rollout of the new subscription plans. Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus cost $3.99 per month each, while WhatsApp Plus costs $2.99 per month. These plans do not replace Meta Verified, the company’s existing subscription service that offers account verification, impersonation protection, and more.

Speaking of Instagram Plus, it brings a bunch of new features for creators and regular users. You will get story rewatch insights and search through the Story viewer list. It lets you create unlimited audience lists for Stories, rather than relying only on the “Close Friends” option.

The plan unlocks new abilities to help users gain more visibility. You can spotlight one Story every week and extend Stories beyond the 24-hour limit. It also lets you preview Stories without appearing on the viewer list. We get a bunch of customization options such as animated “Super Heart” reactions, profile bio fonts, custom app icons, and additional profile pins.

As for Facebook Plus, we get similar features and customization tools as Instagram Plus. On the other hand, WhatsApp Plus focuses more on personalization and messaging tools. The plan offers app themes, custom ringtones, extra pinned chats, premium stickers, and more.

Alongside the new Plus plans, Meta will bring more subscription plans for creators, businesses, and AI users under a new name: Meta One. The company will begin testing Meta One Plus ($7.99/month) and Meta One Premium ($19.99/month) for Meta AI users next month. Meanwhile, for creators and businesses, the company plans to test Meta One Essential ($14.99/month) and Meta One Advanced ($49.99/month).
