Home Up Update is Live for Galaxy S25: Unlock New Home Screen Customizations

The long-awaited Home Up update is now available for Galaxy S25 users. This update brings advanced home screen customization options and enhanced system animations. Other Galaxy devices will get the update with One UI 7.0 — already available for Galaxy S24 users running One UI 7.0 beta.

Galaxy S25’s Home Up update is now live on the Galaxy Store

Home Up, a Good Lock module, takes home screen customization to the next level with One UI 7.0. This update introduces powerful new features that let you fully personalize your Galaxy phone’s home screen layout. You can place icons anywhere, free from grid restrictions, and even overlap them or position them partially off-screen.

Samsung also lets you resize, rotate, and flip icons and widgets, giving you total creative control. Plus, you can decorate your home screen with stickers or design a unique layout that fits your style. Want a chaotic look? Home Up’s got you covered. Want a minimalistic home screen design? Home Up’s still got you covered.

On top of this, you can fine-tune various home screen animations for a more personalized look when you open and close apps. Home Up also lets you customize gestures and gesture settings, task manager, the built-in share sheet, edge panels, and more system elements.

Alongside all these enhancements, Samsung has integrated the Galaxy S25 or One UI 7.0 version of Home Up into One UI Home, the default launcher on Galaxy phones. This means you don’t need to fire up Good Lock and go to Home Up to access these customization options. They are available directly on the main home screen settings.

Samsung recently started rolling out this Home Up update to Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra units globally. To install, open Good Lock, go to Plugins (see at the bottom), and download Home Up from the list. If you don’t see the app listed, wait a few days and check again. Alternatively, you can click here to download it from the Galaxy Store.
