Google Pics Makes AI Image Generation and Editing Seamless

Google has introduced a new creative tool called Google Pics. The tool integrates AI image generation and editing capabilities in a single place. It is currently available for a small number of people as part of a testing phase.
You can generate and edit images with precise control, thanks to Google Pics
Built on the latest Nano Banana model, Google Pics is a new image creation and editing tool. It lets you bring your imagination to life with precise creative control. “Whether you’re building a design from a blank canvas or editing an existing photo, Pics takes the hassle out of complex image generation,” the company wrote in a blog post. You can use Pics within Google Slides while saving your creations to Google Drive.
One of the key features of Google Pics is object segmentation. This lets you select specific parts of an image, such as a person, and edit them separately. For example, you can change the color of a shirt or transform a dog into another animal. The best thing is that the edits do not impact the rest of the image. Moreover, it allows moving and resizing an object.
Google Pics also offers text editing and translation. You can click on text inside an image and change it. It lets you translate text into a different language without breaking the image’s font style and design. This comes in handy if you create posters or images for social media where consistency matters.
Furthermore, you get the ability to collaborate with others. Multiple users can work on the same image at the same time. This is particularly helpful for teams working on design projects.
As of now, Google is testing Pics with a limited group of Trusted Testers and plans to make it widely available in the coming months. The company says it will be available to Workspace customers with Business Standard and higher plans, as well as AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
