Google has integrated live AI voice capabilities into Gmail, Docs, and Keep. This lets you speak naturally to the apps and get things done without typing. The company will roll out its new conversational features this summer for AI Pro and Ultra customers.

Google makes it easier to search, write, and organize using voice

Starting with Gmail, you can use “Gmail Live” to quickly find information inside your inbox. This means you don’t have to dig through emails to find what you need. You can ask questions in natural language, and AI will search your messages to give you the relevant answer instantly.

This comes in handy when you are traveling and need quick access to important details. Once this feature hits Gmail, you will see a waveform icon in the search bar. Tapping it opens a full-screen voice experience where you can speak your query.

In Google Docs, you can use “Docs Live” to draft faster with just your voice. This feature acts as your thought partner and co-writer. “Whether you’re rambling a stream of consciousness or brainstorming an idea, Docs Live helps you outline, refine your tone, and create seamlessly,” said the company.

You just need to trigger Docs Live and start speaking. It will take care of the rest for you, pulling relevant details from your Gmail, Drive, Chat, and the web. As a result, you can easily organize your thoughts and turn them into a structured document.

Speaking of Google Keep, you can use its live voice feature to quickly capture and organize your ideas. Instead of typing notes or making lists manually, you can talk with AI to do all of those tasks. The best thing is that AI turns what you say into organized notes and lists automatically, so you don’t have to sort anything later.

Basically, with the conversational features in Gmail, Docs, and Keep, Google is making it easier for you to brainstorm, organize your thoughts, and get things done naturally.
