Samsung’s One UI 7.0 update for Good Lock is finally here. A leaked version last month provided an early look, but the update is now officially rolling out via the Galaxy Store. It brings a major UI overhaul alongside tons of new features. Some Good Lock modules are still not compatible with One UI 7.0 though.
Good Lock’s One UI 7.0 update is now rolling out to users
Samsung has completely redesigned Good Lock for One UI 7.0. The company says the refreshed look enables a more intuitive experience. The new design houses all modules or plugins in the same place for better organization, with pre-built chips to quickly filter out modules by categories. The app now lets you see the update history for all modules without going into the Galaxy Store.
Additionally, Good Lock now allows you to select your favorite modules for quick access. Your favorites appear in the new “You” tab. This tab also shows your current customizations and active Good Lock settings. Last but not least, the customization app offers home screen widgets and wallpapers. You can find more details here.
While Samsung also announced a search function for Good Lock, it is currently missing. An upcoming update for the app should bring it. As said earlier, this is the One UI 7.0 update for Samsung’s Galaxy customization suite. It is only available for devices running One UI 7.0. The Galaxy S25 series runs the new version out of the box, while the Galayx S24 lineup has the beta version in some regions.
Samsung is expected to widely roll out the One UI 7.0 update for its 2024 flagships in the coming days. The update will gradually make it to other models, including the Galaxy S23 series. Based on Android 15, the new version introduces tons of AI features and other functional enhancements to Galaxy devices.
