It looks like Samsung is finally bringing one of the most exciting phones it’s made yet to the US. The Galaxy Z TriFold could arrive in the US stores as early as the end of this week. Although it has already launched in a few markets, availability so far has been limited.

Galaxy Z TriFold may finally launch in the US on January 30

Based on user reports on Reddit, as well as two people familiar with the matter, the Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to be available starting January 30. That said, Samsung still hasn’t made an official announcement.

Pricing is still a big question. On Reddit, users have pointed to either $2,760 or $2,850. The higher figure seems more likely, based on another person familiar with the situation. For context, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 launched at $1,999. However, recent discounts have pushed that price down significantly.

There’s still no confirmation on trade-in offers. Ideally, Samsung would include trade-in deals, as it usually does with major launches. But given how limited and fast the Galaxy Z TriFold has sold in other markets, it wouldn’t be surprising if discounts were minimal or unavailable at first. Either way, we’ll keep you posted.

According to the press release, the Galaxy Z TriFold will be available in the US in two storage configurations: 512GB+16GB and 1TB+16GB. That said, some users in the same Reddit thread suggest the higher-capacity model could arrive later. Take this with a grain of salt.

So there’s a strong chance Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US on January 30, which is already the end of this week. If you’re interested, you might want to check out our early first impressions video. If you prefer reading, there’s an article version as well.
