Samsung Releases June 2026 Update for Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 & TriFold

Samsung has released the June 2026 update for its latest foldable lineup. The update is now available for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, and the company’s first tri-fold smartphone in South Korea. A wider rollout is expected in additional markets over the coming days.
Foldables may also be getting additional One UI 8.5 features with the June 2026 update
Like the recently released Galaxy S25 update, this rollout appears to be more than a routine security patch. The new firmware builds for Samsung’s latest foldables carry a “U” version too, which typically means additional features or enhancements. We can confirm the build numbers F966NKSUABZF1 and F968NKSU5BZF1 for the Fold 7 and TriFold, respectively. The Flip 7 FE is getting the build version F761NKSSABZF1, while we do not yet have that info for the Flip 7.
While the official changelog reveals nothing, Samsung may be pushing some missing One UI 8.5 features to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and TriFold (and possibly the Flip 7 too). The Galaxy S25 series also picked up Notification Highlights with the June update. Part of One UI 8.5, this feature was missing when Samsung first rolled out the big update to its 2025 flagships.
The Flip 7 FE, on the other hand, appears to be getting nothing more than this month’s security release, as it’s picking up an “S” firmware build. The June 2026 patch contains fixes for more than 40 vulnerabilities, including a few critical issues in Android OS and Galaxy components.
These foldables join the Galaxy S26 and S25 lineup in Samsung’s June 2026 update. More devices should get the latest security fixes in the coming days. While the rollout begins in Korea, a wider release may not be too far off. Users can always check for updates by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
