Samsung has released yet another One UI 8 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the second this week. In total, this is the fourth beta build for the Watch 6 lineup. It brings a series of important improvements and includes the October 2025 security patch. These frequent beta releases hint at a nearing stable rollout, though we do not have an official word yet.

Galaxy Watch 6 picks up its fourth One UI 8 Watch beta update

One UI 8 Watch Beta 4 for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic comes with the build version ZYJ6. It focuses primarily on stability, bug fixes, and system performance. Samsung says users can expect smoother operation, improved GPS accuracy, and better battery efficiency thanks to additional software optimizations. These refinements aim to enhance day-to-day usability for beta testers.

Unfortunately, the beta program remains limited to South Korea, with no signs of a global expansion. Korean Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic users enrolled in the beta program can download the new firmware through the Galaxy Wearable app on their paired phone. Head to Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install to see if the latest release is available for your unit.

The inclusion of the latest October 2025 security patch makes this beta release more complete, addressing recent vulnerabilities while strengthening device security. As mentioned above, this is the second beta rollout for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Samsung is seemingly finalizing its internal testing phase and preparing to release the stable One UI 8 Watch update soon.

Given that the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra have already received the stable version, the Watch 6 lineup is the next in the pipeline. Based on Wear OS 6, One UI 8 Watch brings new health insights, deeper Galaxy ecosystem integration, and smarter AI-powered features. This update will also make it to the Watch 5, Watch 4, and Watch FE in the coming months.
