Samsung may unveil the Galaxy Tab S10 series earlier than expected. Originally rumored to break cover in October, the new flagship Android tablets may go official at the end of September. On September 26, a reliable tipster claimed. Pre-orders may begin immediately after launch, though we might have to wait until October for their market release. The latest leak also sheds light on the anticipated prices for these premium tablets.
Galaxy Tab S10 may arrive later this month with unchanged prices
A few days ago, a wild rumor hinted at a massive price hike for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra, the only two flagship tablets Samsung has in the pipeline this year — there is no base model. However, the claim was quickly debunked by reliable tipster Roland Quandt. He said the new tablets will carry the same price tag as their predecessor, starting at $999. The tipster has now shared the Galaxy Tab S10 duo’s European prices.
According to Quandt, Samsung will price the base Tab S10+ (Wi-Fi) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage at €1,119. Its 512GB storage variant will cost €1,239. The 5G version of the tablet will be priced at €1,269 and €1,389, respectively. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will start at €1,339 for the 12GB+256GB Wi-Fi variant. The prices will go up to €1,909 for the beefiest variant — the 5G-enabled model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
These prices are similar to what Samsung charged for the Galaxy Tab S9 series at launch. It seems justifiable, considering the new models don’t offer many notable upgrades. We are looking at the same display (but with an anti-reflective panel), cameras, battery capacity, and charging speed. Even the shape, size, and dimensions are unchanged. The only upgrade that has been revealed in leaks so far is Wi-Fi 7 support for the Ultra model.
Samsung is also switching from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors to MediaTek’s Dimensity, a first for the flagship Tab S lineup. The Galaxy Tab S10 series runs the Dimensity 9300+. It’s a comparable chipset to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. With the launch rumored later this month, we might soon see more Tab S10 leaks. It’s unclear if the Galaxy S24 FE will accompany the new flagship tablets. We will keep you posted.
