Samsung has a couple of new affordable Android tablets in the pipeline, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+. We exclusively revealed the latter’s design and dimensions earlier this month, confirming a single rear camera. Subsequent leaks have shown both models and detailed their key specs. While an official launch date is still missing, we just got confirmation that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor.

Geekbench confirms the Galaxy Tab S10 FE’s processor

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE (model number SM-X520) recently surfaced on Geekbench, a popular benchmarking platform. As usual, the listing reveals nothing new, but confirms the RAM amount and SoC details. Samsung will ship the upcoming affordable tablet with its in-house Exynos 1580 processor, a 4nm chip that also powers the recently launched Galaxy A56. The chip is paired with 8GB of RAM, though there should also be a 12GB RAM model.

To recall, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE features Samsung’s Exynos 1380, which is a 5nm chip. It has a peak speed of 2.4GHz, while the Exynos 1580 goes up to 2.91GHz. The new tablet clearly has a more powerful processor, and it reflects in Geekbench scores. It scored 1,349 in single-core CPU tests and 3,882 in multi-core tests. Its predecessor scored around 1,000 and 2,850, respectively. The Exynos 1580 is also more power efficient.

Earlier leaks have revealed that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a 10.9-inch display with 2,304 x 1,440 pixels resolution. It supports S Pen input, with the accessory likely coming bundled in the retail box. It sports a 13MP rear camera and a 12MP selfie shooter. An 8,000mAh battery should fuel this tablet, with support for 45W wired charging. Other highlights include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.4, a fingerprint scanner, and IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE series could go official soon.
