With One UI 7.0 facing indefinite delays, Samsung appears focused on delivering the February security patch on time. The company has been rolling out the latest security update at a phenomenal pace, covering several dozen device models in less than two weeks. The Galaxy Tab S10 series joins the party today, accompanying the Tab S9 and many more.

February update rolls out to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 series

Samsung has already rolled out the February security update to all of its flagship Galaxy S phones launched in 2021 and later. The list includes the Galaxy S21, S22, S23, S24, and S25 series, as well as the Galaxy S23 FE and S24 FE. Additionally, the latest security patch has been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Fold 5, Fold 6, Flip 4, Flip 5, and Flip 6.

Samsung has also updated the Galaxy Tab S9 series and a few budget and mid-range phones to the February SMR (Security Maintenance Release). The Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are the latest entrants to this ever-growing list. This flagship tablet duo is currently picking up the new security patch in South Korea. A global rollout should begin soon.

The Korean Galaxy Tab S10 units are receiving this update with firmware version AYB1. The flagship tablet lineup is only getting the latest security fixes here. Samsung’s February SMR contains over 40 patches, including some critical ones. This update doesn’t bring anything more, so don’t dig deep looking for additional changes.

Samsung may soon start rolling out the One UI 7.0 update to the Galaxy family, introducing tons of new features and enhancements. The Galaxy S24 series will receive this big feature update first, followed by other mothers. The Tab S10 lineup should pick it up in the coming months. We will keep a close eye on the ongoing developments and let you know when the rollout begins.
