It hasn’t even been a full three months since the Galaxy S26 series hit shelves, but Galaxy S27 series rumors are already piling up. In one such rumor, tipster yeux1122 on Naver has revealed some interesting details about the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra could bring bigger batteries and new design

There’s already chatter that Samsung could debut the Galaxy S27 Pro next year, likely positioning it between the Plus and Ultra variants. The base Galaxy S27 doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, so what’s the deal with the Galaxy S27 Pro? The tipster says it will feature a 6.4-inch screen. If that rumor holds true, Samsung would effectively have a Pro and Pro Max lineup, just branded as Pro and Ultra.

As such, the Galaxy S27 Pro could also inherit the Privacy Display, which for now remains exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. As a result, the Galaxy S27 Pro could be a smaller variant of the Ultra, likely without the S Pen, which could also leave room for a larger battery. The tipster hints that the Galaxy S27 Pro could offer a bigger battery, reduced thickness, and a different camera sensor.

Galaxy S27 Ultra to shed some weight, come with camera and design changes

Moving on to the Galaxy S27 Ultra, it could bring three notable changes. One is that Samsung is reportedly working on a new design, including a redesigned camera module. That’s one of the more notable changes, which could hopefully make room for native Qi2 integration.

On the hardware side, the camera system could see major tweaks. Leaks suggest a 200-megapixel main sensor with variable aperture, while the 10 MP 3x telephoto lens may be dropped in favor of digital zoom. It’s also rumored to pack a much bigger battery than the S26 Ultra, while staying similarly slim and even shedding some weight.

Of course, only time will tell how many of these rumors turn out to be true. The leaker in question has a decent track record, but when leaks emerge this early, not all of them materialize. Some are based on industry chatter, others on supply chain hearsay, and some are purely speculative. As such, you should still take these with a pinch of salt.
