Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series has received a strong response in several parts of the world. The company recently revealed that pre-orders jumped 25% in the US, with the S26 Ultra accounting for eight of every ten units sold. The devices saw similar sales growth in Korea and a few other regions, including Thailand.

Galaxy S26 demand surpasses previous records in Thailand

According to Samsung, Galaxy S26 pre-orders in Thailand were 1.4 times higherthan those of the S25 lineup, setting a new record for the company’s flagship smartphone sales in the country. The record-breaking pre-orders in Thailand highlight how eager consumers are to adopt the newest Galaxy innovations.

Samsung describes the Galaxy S26 lineup as its third generation of AI-powered smartphones (it introduced Galaxy AI with the S24 series in 2024). The devices include several AI-driven features designed to make everyday tasks easier and more intuitive. Among the key highlights are tools such as Now Brief and Now Nudge, which provide contextual suggestions and useful updates throughout the day.

Samsung has also focused on improving privacy and security features, helping users protect personal information stored on their devices. The Galaxy S26 Ultra‘s Privacy Display has been grabbing headlines worldwide. It blocks side-angle views, keeping sensitive information safe from prying eyes in public places.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 lineup introduces Horizon Lock for videography, producing incredibly stable handheld videos. Samsung has also improved the photo and video quality with subtle hardware improvements and software enhancements. All of this is contributing to the phones’ early success.
