Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series is now fully available worldwide, starting today. Pre-orders kicked off on January 22, shortly after the launch event, and wrapped up yesterday, February 6. The Galaxy S25 lineup seems to be a step up from the Galaxy S24 if the company’s pre-order numbers in India are anything to go by.
Samsung announced 430,000 Galaxy S25 series pre-orders
In Korea, Samsung has set a new pre-order record for the Galaxy S25 series, reaching as high as 1.3 million in its home market. Meanwhile, in another key market, India, Samsung announced (via TheHindu) receiving 430,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series — 20% higher than the Galaxy S24 series, which launched last year.
The Galaxy S25 lineup consists of three models: the 6.9-inch flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra, the 6.7-inch Galaxy S25+, and the 6.2-inch base Galaxy S25. All models pack Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy globally. A company executive confirmed that units for India are being manufactured in Noida. In fact, it’s also the company’s largest mobile manufacturing plant in the world.

In India, the Galaxy S25 starts at INR 80,999 for the base 12GB+256GB variant and comes in Icy Blue, Silver Shadow, Navy, and Mint colors. The Galaxy S25+ kicks off at INR 99,999 for the 12GB+256GB configuration, available in Navy and Silver Shadow.
