You may think that the Galaxy S25 lineup is just the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, but no! Samsung is prepping the Galaxy S25 Edge at full speed, with a launch slated for next month. Weโve already caught sight of the Galaxy S25 Edge twice, but most details about the upcoming phone are still under wraps. Thankfully, a fresh tip from one of the most reliable sources spills some juicy details. One of which suggests that the Galaxy S25 Edge could rock a 2K resolution display.
Galaxy S25 Edge may have 2K resolution display
According to noted tipster Ice Universe (via Android Authority), the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 2K resolution display. Itโs expected to have a screen similar to the S25+, likely with a 3,120 ร 1,440 resolution. However, due to its slimmer design, some speculated that Samsung might downgrade it to 1080p to improve battery life.
This leak confirms that Samsung hasnโt compromised on resolution, which is great news considering all the previous speculation. Aside from that, weโve also heard that the screen size could be around 6.66 inches (or possibly 6.7 inches). That puts it in the same ballpark as the Galaxy S25+, but with a massive difference in thickness, expected to be just 5.84mm.
Titanium body doesnโt seem to be going anywhere!
Apart from the rumored resolution, the Galaxy S25 Edge is also said to feature a titanium alloy middle frame, according to Ice Universe. This aligns with earlier claims suggesting that the device could come in Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack color options. So, we might see a Titanium-Ceramic body on the Galaxy S25 Edge.
That means, despite its slim profile, Samsungโs Galaxy S25 Edge could still boast a strong and durable build. In fact, a Samsung executive previously confirmed that they wouldnโt sacrifice durability for a โsexyโ form factor.
