Samsung has taken another step toward democratizing meaningful mobile AI experiences, helping people connect and communicate effortlessly. The company has officially announced the addition of Filipino and Gujarati to its Galaxy AI suite, expanding total language support to 22 languages. The new languages are now available to download worldwide.

Galaxy AI adds two new languages to its suite

At the Galaxy AI Forum earlier this year, Samsung revealed that over 70% of Galaxy S25 users actively use AI features. With the addition of the Gujarati and Filipino languages, Samsung expects Galaxy AI to become even more accessible and useful to a broader audience. These languages are spoken by more than 60 million and 87 million people, respectively.

With their inclusion, Galaxy AI now supports 22 languages (plus regional dialects) spoken by nearly 5.9 billion people globally. These include Arabic, Chinese (China mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan), Dutch, English (Australia, India, UK, US), Filipino, French (Canada, France), German, Gujarati, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Spanish (Mexico, Spain, US), Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Samsung offers its AI tools across a wide range of products. It is on a mission to bring Galaxy AI to over 400 million devices by the end of 2025. By expanding its linguistic reach, the company is building an ecosystem that’s not only smart but also inclusive. These additions help Galaxy AI evolve as one of the most comprehensive and user-friendly AI platforms in the world.

“AI experience on Samsung is by far the best, not just for Android smartphones but overall,” smartphone analyst Abhilash Kumar noted. “Not just this, Galaxy AI has been democratized from premium devices to mid-high segment. What’s even better is that the brand is still aggressive in improving the AI experience.”
