Galaxy A35 Spotted with Android 15 as One UI 7.0 Beta Draws Closer

by | Aug 5, 2024 | Galaxy A, News, One UI

The One UI 7.0 beta program may have been delayed, but Samsung continues internal tests of the big update. We have already seen some flagship models hit Geekbench with Android 15. The Galaxy A35 recently made it to the benchmarking platform running the new Android version. It may be one of the first devices to get a One UI 7.0 beta build.

Galaxy A35 surfaces on Geekbench with Android 15

One UI 7.0 is Samsung’s custom Android skin based on Android 15. The company is expected to launch beta programs to test the big update later this month, with a stable release in October or November. Rumors say the current beta build is too buggy and unstable. The company could take a while to stabilize it before pushing the update.

The last time we heard, the first One UI 7.0 beta update was said to arrive in the third week of August. Of course, this isn’t an official word from Samsung. The company has yet to say anything about its Android 15 plans. Nonetheless, it’s an open secret that beta programs will be first available for the Galaxy S24 series, followed by other models.

The Galaxy A35 could follow the new flagships closely. Samsung often expands beta programs to the Galaxy A series before covering all flagships. It may be no different this year. The company might start the mid-range journey with the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. The former didn’t arrive in the US even though Samsung launched the Galaxy A54 stateside.

We will let you know when we have more information about Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta. Leaks have already revealed what the company has in store this time around. It is shaping up to be the biggest One UI update yet. We are in for a major UI overhaul and visual enhancements. Of course, there will be plenty of new features too. Stick around for more.
