Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A27 soon, with the new mid-range phone expected to arrive in the US as well. Ahead of its official unveiling, the handset may have just leaked in full. A new report revealed its design, key specifications, and color options, giving us an early insight into what Samsung could offer in the affordable mid-range segment this year.

Galaxy A27 design appears familiar but refined

This isn’t the first time we have seen the Galaxy A27 in CAD renders. Reputed leaker OnLeaks gave us our first look at the phone last month, confirming its design details. The same source has now shared additional renders in multiple colors, while also revealing key specs.

The leaked materials show the Galaxy A27 in three color options: Light Pink, Blue, and Black. The handset reportedly measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs around 200g. The design follows Samsung’s current minimalist approach, featuring a flat frame, rounded corners, a centered hole-punch selfie camera, and a vertically aligned triple-camera setup on the rear panel.

This phone sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display, which should provide a large viewing area for media consumption, gaming, and multitasking. It should ship with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung is sticking with a 5,000mAh battery paired with 25W wired fast charging.

One of the biggest reported changes is under the hood. Samsung may finally be switching away from Exynos chips for this model in favor of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The Galaxy A27 is expected to launch with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Samsung may remove microSD card support, though.

The rear camera setup includes 50MP primary camera with OIS, 5MP ultrawide lens , and 2MP macro camera. The front camera resolution drops slightly from 13MP to 12MP, though it could be an upgraded sensor. In fact, the ultrawide camera also sees a downgrade from 8MP, so Samsung must be optimizing the camera setup on the Galaxy A27 for better results.

Now that detailed press renders and specifications are circulating online, the launch appears much closer. Current expectations point toward a release window sometime in the second half of 2026. We will let you know when we have more information.
