Samsung seems to be working on another Galaxy A series phone. A new device carrying the model number SM-A077F (which could be Galaxy A07s) has now appeared in the Wi-Fi Alliance database, but the listing leaves us with more questions than answers.
Could this hint at the Galaxy A07s being in the works?
The certification confirms support for Wi-Fi 5, but that’s about all it reveals. There’s no official product name, no specifications, and no clues about when Samsung plans to launch the device.
Adding to the mystery, the model number hasn’t shown up in the IMEI database yet, which often helps identify upcoming Galaxy phones before they’re announced.
Based on Samsung’s naming pattern, the SM-A077F could be a refreshed version of the Galaxy A07. Previous “s” variants in the Galaxy A lineup have usually offered modest upgrades, such as a newer processor or minor camera improvements. However, that’s just an educated guess for now, and there’s no evidence yet that this device will launch as the Galaxy A07s.
At this point, the SM-A077F remains a mystery. It could be a regional variant, a mid-cycle refresh, or even a different Galaxy A series model altogether. As more certification listings and regulatory filings surface, we should get a much better idea of what Samsung has in store.
