With Galaxy Unpacked just around the corner, the leaks keep coming. After getting an early look at several new health features coming to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, we now have our first look at a collection of brand-new watch faces.

Thanks to fellow SammyGuru writer Josh Skinner, and Galaxy Techie, we can now preview five new watch faces that appear to be designed for the upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup. Previously, we have already seen two of the five upcoming watch faces.

Analog Balance becomes the new default Galaxy Watch 9 face

The first new watch face is called Analog Balance, and it might become the default watch face for the Galaxy Watch 9. At first glance, it resembles last year’s Minimal Analog watch face, which debuted with Galaxy Watch 8. However, it has a cleaner layout and more room for customization. It includes three complications for quickly viewing information like steps, weather, battery percentage, energy score, and much more. Like Samsung’s recent watch faces, Analog Balance will likely offer several color themes and customization options.

Dual Digit modernizes Samsung’s minimalist digital design

Samsung is also preparing a new digital watch face called Dual Digit. It keeps the clean aesthetic of last year’s Minimal Digital face. At the same time, it displays the time using oversized digits and a vertical bar that fills with color, showing you the seconds. The layout leaves room for two customizable complications. As usual, Samsung will likely offer more color options and let users customize the complication layouts.

Radial Dashboard packs information into a modern layout

The third newcomer is Radial Dashboard, which follows Samsung’s Dashboard family of watch faces. This one offers a much more modern design, surrounding the digital clock with rings and complications. These can display health data, weather, battery status, navigation, workouts, compass information, and much more. If you’ve used previous Dashboard watch faces, this one feels like a natural evolution. It has a cleaner layout and significantly more room for personalization.

Ultra Performance is exclusive to Galaxy Watch Ultra 2

Samsung also appears to be introducing a brand-new Ultra Performance watch face for the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The design blends elements from last year’s Ultra Analog and Ultra Simple faces. In addition, it adds an even denser layout filled with complications. It features a sporty yet premium appearance that fits the Ultra branding well.

Users should be able to customize the complications, watch hands, dial design, and colors. As the original Galaxy Watch Ultra watch faces, it may also support Low Light Mode. This automatically switches to a red color scheme in darker environments to reduce eye strain while preserving night vision. At least for now, this appears to be an Ultra-exclusive watch face. Whether Samsung eventually brings it to the original Galaxy Watch Ultra remains to be seen.

Dual Clock Info Board is perfect for frequent travelers

The final watch face is called Dual Clock Info Board. If you’ve previously used Samsung’s Info Board, Ultra Info Board, or Info Brick watch faces, this new design will immediately feel familiar. It essentially combines the best aspects of Ultra Info Board and the standard Info Board. Furthermore, it adds support for displaying two different time zones simultaneously.

The layout still leaves plenty of room for customizable complications, making it ideal for travelers or anyone who regularly communicates with friends, family, or colleagues living abroad. Having both local time and another city’s time visible at a glance makes it much easier to know the right time to call.

Most of these faces should come with One UI 9.0 Watch

Samsung will likely debut these new watch faces with One UI 9 Watch during the next Galaxy Unpacked event. The company is expected to roll out new AI-powered health features, enhanced fitness tracking, and additional wellness tools for supported Galaxy Watches, alongside the new watch faces.

While most of these watch faces will likely become available on older compatible Galaxy Watch models through the One UI 9 Watch update, the Ultra Performance face may remain exclusive to Samsung’s Ultra lineup. Whether it eventually arrives on both the original Galaxy Watch Ultra and the new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is something we’ll have to wait and see.

If you’re planning to pick up the Galaxy Watch 9 or Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 alongside upcoming foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, or Galaxy Z Flip 8, you may want to sign up for our Mystery Box program.
