Samsung has sped up the One UI 8 development for the Galaxy S25 series. Just over two weeks after rolling out the fifth beta update, it’s now pushing Beta 6. The latest release brings another round of bug fixes — you can see the full changelog below. This could be the final beta build, with the stable version expected next month.

Galaxy S25 gets One UI 8 Beta 6 with bug fixes and feature enhancements

This update comes with the build version ZYHB and weighs over 800MB. The changelog mentions several bug fixes across the lock screen, clock widget, Now Bar, and more. Beta testers have been reporting an issue where only icons appear on the lock screen when notifications are received. One UI 8 Beta 6 also addresses the bug that caused fonts to automatically revert to default after changing.

Besides these bug patches, Samsung has bundled the September 2025 security patch with the latest beta release, enhancing system security. The company has yet to detail the new SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for Galaxy devices. You can see the full One UI 8 Beta 6 changelog below.

The latest One UI 8 beta release is now available for testers across India, Germany, Korea, and the UK. It should soon show up for all Galaxy S25 users who participated in the beta program, including in the US.

This is widely expected to be the final One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S25 trio. Samsung has already confirmed that the stable version will be available in September. It recently reiterated the timeline, suggesting a timely release with no delays. It remains to be seen whether the company is done with beta testing or plans one more release before the stable rollout.
