Breaking! Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 Bag One UI 6.1.1 Update

It’s another update party at Samsung today. After the Galaxy S22 trio, the company has released the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4. As usual, the rollout has begun in its homeland, South Korea. A global rollout may follow later this week or early next week.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 receive One UI 6.1.1

Samsung has been rapidly rolling out One UI 6.1.1 to eligible Galaxy devices, including foldables and tablets. It has already pushed the update to its 2024 and 2023 flagships in most parts of the world. The Galaxy S22 series picked up the new One UI version moments ago. The 2022 foldables have now joined the party.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is receiving One UI 6.1.1 with the firmware build number F936NKSU4GXH7 in Korea. The update for the Flip 4 bears the firmware version F721NKSU4GXH7. Both devices are getting the September security patch alongside the One UI 6.1.1 goodies, which include AI features and other enhancements. The update file weighs nearly 3GB.

This update brings advanced AI tools Samsung introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Some features are missing due to compatibility issues, but the Fold 4 and Flip 4 are picking up most of the new stuff. It appears They are also getting an interactive changelog that we spotted on the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Fold 5 with the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Samsung will soon roll out the new One UI version to its 2022 foldables globally. As said earlier, Korean units receive the latest security patch with the new features. It may or may not accompany the One UI 6.1.1 update elsewhere. Rest assured, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will receive new security patches for several years in the future. If you are using either of these foldables, watch out for a big update in the coming days.
