What’s in the box

Inside the box, you get the Acefit Pro earbuds tucked neatly in their clear charging case, along with a USB-C cable, a quick start guide, and a wiping cloth. That’s about it. There aren’t any extra ear tips because you don’t need them. Yes, these don’t go inside your ear canal.

The case instantly stands out. It’s transparent, shows off the buds inside, and even displays battery levels on a small digital screen. It feels more playful than premium, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s different, and that’s exactly the point of this product.

Design and comfort

Acefast may not be the first brand that comes to mind when you think of sleek design, but the Acefit Pro genuinely looks cool. It’s a refreshing break from the endless stream of minimalist white earbuds. The case, with its transparent lid and digital battery indicator, adds a touch of fun to what’s usually a boring plastic pod. For that matter, these can also be prone to scratches. These come in green, gray, pink and purple.

I’ve been using both the Galaxy Buds Core and the Acefit Air, and I’ve realized each serves a different purpose. The open-ear design of the Acefit Pro stands out for long listening sessions. My ears often ache after a few hours with in-ear buds, but that problem disappears with open-ear buds. That might not be the same for everyone, but it’s been my experience.

Sound and performance

Sound quality is often where open-ear earbuds stumble, and the Acefit Pro is no exception, though it holds its own. The mids are clear, vocals are crisp, and podcasts or acoustic tracks sound great. Treble response stays balanced without drifting into harsh or tinny territory, and overall clarity is more than enough for daily listening. As with most open designs, bass takes a backseat. You’ll hear it, but you won’t feel it.

That said, the sound grows on you. The wide, airy soundstage gives your music room to breathe. In quiet settings, it’s enjoyable, and outdoors it blends naturally with your surroundings instead of shutting them out. Call quality is solid too, with dual microphones keeping wind and traffic noise in check. I didn’t notice much sound leakage, except when cranking the volume all the way up, which is expected.

Battery life and charging

Acefast claims up to six hours of continuous playback on a single charge and around 25 to 30 hours with the case included. In real-world use, those numbers hold up quite well. At about 70% volume, I managed roughly five and a half hours before needing a recharge — which is okay for open-ear buds, especially given the LED lights and Bluetooth 5.4 connection, both of which tend to drain power faster.

The transparent case adds a nice practical touch with its digital display showing real-time battery levels for both the earbuds and the case itself. Charging via USB-C is quick, taking around 90 minutes for a full top-up. One small design gripe: the port sits at the bottom, so you can’t stand the case upright while charging. And no, there’s no wireless charging support here.

Extras and app support

The Acefast app adds a few nice touches. You can customize gestures, adjust the EQ, and control how the LED lights behave (or turn them off entirely). If these earbuds ever get a firmware update, you can install it right through the app. You can assign gestures to control playback, adjust volume, activate your voice assistant, or switch between sound modes. Though it lacks wear detection, it covers the essentials well.

There’s also a small section for ambient audio. At first, I didn’t really see the point. But then it clicked — not everyone wants to dig through playlists or open multiple apps just to play background sounds. It’s a small convenience, but a thoughtful one. Honestly, I ended up using it while reading. The app itself is straightforward and fairly easy to navigate. It doesn’t overcomplicate things, and that’s a good thing.

Verdict

The Acefast Acefit Pro won’t replace your flagship ANC earbuds, but it might easily become your go-to pair for workouts, errands, and casual listening.
